Sisterhood

The Lord gives the word [of power]; the women who bear and publish [the news] are a great host. Psalm 68v11

NCLC Sisterhood is a community of women united in heart, whose focus is making a difference in their community.

We believe that every woman has seeds of greatness within her and we are about seeing that grow and in turn influence others.

When we gather the women of all ages and backgrounds, we are able to affect our world and carry God well to those who desperately need Him.

Sisterhood gets together every Thursday morning and once a month on a Friday night.

If you would like to find out more, please speak to a connection host in the foyer on Sunday or e-mail  sisterhood@newcastleclc.co.uk

“If I'm honest I used to have a problem being friends with girls – I thought women judged each other or didn't really like each other so my first experience of women in church was a bit of a surprise. It wasn't competitive – I felt like I was being brought in not pushed out.

“The thing I love most is that Sisterhood isn't just a bunch of girls getting together having a good time – although we definitely do that – but it's also outward focused. We care about each other and through that we learn that we have something to give – we can then care for others. We can Be the Change!”
